The Concept 2 Model D has several improvements over the Model C rower it replaced, notably the PM3 monitor with a host of new display options, a quieter smoother motion and ergonomically designed handles.

Rowing exercises and strengthens both upper and lower body with a motion that is smooth, rhythmic and impact-free. Its wide range of motion promotes flexibility in your muscles and joints. The Concept 2 Rowing Machine allows you to row as hard or as easily as you wish, making it an extremely versatile exercise machine that can be used by people of all ages and fitness levels.

Now in its third generation, the Concept 2 Model D Rowing Machine has a number of new features for the serious rower, while also retaining the simplicity of earlier models. You can either sit on the machine and just row, or you can choose from a library of pre-set workouts that load instantly.

Each Concept 2 rower can be used in conjunction with a Concept2 LogCard. The LogCard will automatically store all your workout data so that you can chart your improvement over time. You can also programme and store your favourite workouts on the LogCard for instant set-up, as well as download all data to a PC.

When rowing, as well as monitoring your heart rate (using the optional heart rate interface and chestbelt), the new PM3 monitor enables you to race against your previous workout results, or against an on-screen pace boat. You can also choose from a variety of units and display options, including watts, calories, a Bar Chart and a Force Curve which graphically illustrates the efficiency of your stroke action.
