If a carrier arrives to deliver your item on your pre-agreed delivery day and if there is nobody available at the address to accept the delivery, or we have been given an incorrect or inaccessible address, any subsequent delivery arrangement will be subject to further delivery charge.

In the presence of the driver, please check the packaging externally, to ensure that the table is not damaged on arrival. Due to the fragile nature of some of our products, please ensure that you unwrap and check all the items as soon as possible after delivery to ensure the contents of the carton are in good order.

You should notify the driver, and not accept delivery, but ask the delivery driver to reload on his vehicle and make the necessary reserve on the delivery note, stating why you are refusing delivery, indicating the damage sustained having first agreed it with the driver. You should also notify us verbally within 24hrs followed by written confirmation within 48hrs of the delivery.

You or your agent’s signature on the Carriers Delivery Sheet is your total acceptance of the delivery without reserve, and therefore, if accepted in good condition, neither the carrier nor FITNESS EQUIPMENTS UK LTD T/A ARGOS SPORTS can entertain any later claim for damage or loss. If in doubt, please inspect the contents of the cartons as recommended above and sign for the delivery as “UNEXAMINED AND CONTENTS NOT CHECKED AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY”

Before assembling or using your table, please read carefully all the safety notices and the assembly instructions provided with the table and also ensure that they are brought to the attention of all other table users. Before using the table, you must check all the locks, moving parts, nuts and adjustments. We recommend that where tables are needed to be in constant use, some essential spares and accessories be ordered from us in advance.

All our tables are supplied with detailed assembly instructions and a comprehensive spare parts list. Please keep these safe for future reference so that you can quote the appropriate part number when ordering any spares.
